I'm moving in....

Hint: Chrona Myuu:
Myuu can evolve into Chrona Myuu. Go to the Seafoam Islands and use the Itemfinder to locate the Mist Stone. There is only one, and is very difficult to find.
Information in this section was contributed by Shorty.
Hint: Kangaskhan:
Go to Fuschia and surf until reaching Sea Foam Island. Surf up and down until M Pokemon appears. Catch it, nickname it, and use one rare candy on it to evolve it into Kangaskhan.
Information in this section was contributed YangVA10 .
Hint: Get Mewto:
To get Mewto, the rarest of all Pokemon (#150), defeat Pokemon League, and enter the cave in Cerulean city. Mewto is located deep within the cave.
Information in this section was contributed by Stone Cold Claydoh and Barrett Steinberg .
Hint: Get Mewtwo at level 141:
Use the "Unlimited items" trick and stay at the Seafoam Islands. Search for Mewtwo where Pokemon "M" was found. Keep searching up and down the shores of Seafoam Islands until Mewtwo is found. Note: Mewtwo may only be caught with Ultra Balls. At least 10 Ultra Balls may be needed in order to catch him.
Information in this section was contributed by AndyJ.tOrReS .
Hint: Getting Mew (Japanese version):
Collect all 150 Pokemon. There is a man in Celadon city in the building where Eevee was found that gives you a very special Pokemon. He is located by taking the path that leads behind the buildings at the farthest north point of the city. There will be a secret door in the building that is off set from the row. Climb the stairs to find a group of people working on computers, when the building is entered from the front. Talk to the man that is not working on a computer to collect Mew.
Information in this section was contributed by James Queen .
Go to Shion Town and change your Koiking's nickname to "Mew". Highlight the thirteenth tool on the tool screen and press Select(8). Attempt to change your Koiking's nickname again to any name. The monster will flash, but the name will remain the same. Mew will now be available.
Go to Cerulean Cave to catch Mew and Mewtwo.
Information in this section was contributed by Hitmonle12 .
All Pokemon (Game Boy emulators):
Have any Pokmon saved game inside the "battery" folder (e.g. PokeRed.sav). Rename the saved file to the opposite version (e.g. PokeBlue.sav). Run the emulator and catch all the blue version Pokemon. Rename the saved file to the original name (e.g. PokeRed.sav). You should now have the Pokemon from the other version of the game.

Cloning pokemon- You need a link cable two games and two games boys. This trick allows you to give a friend a pokemon and still keep it for yourself. Go to the trade center. Give your friend a pokemon he/she wants and make sure they gives you a bad pokemon.Trade the pokemon normally. Right after the WAITING disappears the person recieveing the bad pokemon turns their game off. 2 seconds later the other person turns their game off . They will have the good pokemon and you will also have the good pokemon. Make sure you turn it off before it says Trade complete but after it finish saying waiting. How to get Yoshi(It really works) Yes, try this, trade for a dratini from the red version, then raise it to a dragonite, then trade it back to the Red version then he\she get a water stone and go to the secret dongeon where you get mewtwo select water stone even though it says it won't work on him, select dragonite, he should evolve into yoshi.

Pokemon

Hint: Missingno Pokemon:
The U.S. version of the game contains the following glitch Pokemon,
which is obtained by using these steps. Go to Cinnabar Island. Enter
into the building where the man makes Pokemon out of fossils. Enter the
first room in the building with people that want to trade Pokemon. Trade
with one of these people; it does not matter which one. Go back outside
and move to the far right side of the building. Then, surf up and down
the side of the island while half on land and half in the water. Keep
surfing until challenged by a glitch that resembles a microchip or
barcode. He is part bird and part water type and starts on level 80.
Note: Obtaining Missingno can prevent the game from continuing
correctly.
Information in this section was contributed by Roaddog Smith, Craig
Wagner, Nitro, and Shorty.

Store the Missingno Pokemon in Bill's PC. It will eventually turn into a
Rhydon.
Information in this section was contributed by KeyMan3216.

Hint: Pokemon "M":
Note: This only works in the Blue version of the game. Go to Viridian
City and talk to the old man. When he asks if you are in a hurry, answer
"No". After he explains how to catch a Weedle, fly to Cinnabar Island.
Surf on the side of Cinnabar that faces the Seafoam Islands to find the
Pokemon "M".
Information in this section was contributed by Phil Abbate and Cj0004.

Hint: Unlimited items:
Find the Missingno Pokemon and defeat him. A design will appear in your
sixth item. Deposit your sixth item individually until it totals 99.
Then you can divide the items by fifty. If a no more room message
appears, just withdraw an item and keep depositing the sixth item. Check
the CPU when this is complete to find two groups of 99 of the same item.
This may be done with anything, except for money.
Information in this section was submitted by Gian-Paul Vidal and Shorty.

To get 99 of any item, first put the item to be multiplied in the sixth
slot. Now use FLY and go to Viridian City. Talk to the old man almost
all the way north of the town. When he asks if you are in a hurry, say
no and watch him catch a weedle. After that, fly to Fuchsia city. Make
your way south and, when you reach the water's edge, use SURF and go to
Seafoam Island. After arriving, swim up and down the beach until you run
into a Pokemon called "M" (a glitch like Missingno). Once you see him,
kill him or run away -- do not catch him! After that, you should have 99
of your 6th item! Note: You can do this code as many times as you want
and you can catch "M" another time. Additionally, instead of "M" a level
128 Starmie (Red Version) or Snorlax (Blue Version) may appear.
Information in this section was contributed by Spounge and Victor Twu.

Hint: Getting Mewto:
To get Mewto, the rarest of all Pokemon (#150), defeat Pokemon League,
and enter the cave in Cerulean city. Mewto is located deep within the
cave.
Information in this section was contributed by Stone Cold Claydoh and
Barrett Steinberg.

Hint: Old man on roof:
Step to the right of the door at the gym where you get the Volcano
Badge. You should be on the edge of the water. Use Lapras to surf out
into the water. Then, come back in and go to the door. The game will say
that the door is locked. Look on the roof to find an old man.
Information in this section was contributed by Stone Cold Clayton.

Hint: Easy experience:
An easy way to earn experience for a weaker Pokemon is to put your
lowest-level Pokemon at the top of your list. When a fight begins, it
will be the first Pokemon released. Instead of fighting, just switch to
a stronger Pokemon. The weaker Pokemon will share the experience from
the battle without being put in any danger. This is a good way to make
your Pokemon gain experience evenly.
Information in this section was contributed by Ed Griffiths.

Hint: Winning money in Celadon City:
Enter Celadon City and get the coin case from the man in the back of the
diner. Go to the slots and ask for some free coins. You will use these
to play the slots and win Pokemon prizes. Here is how to find the slot
machine that pays out the most. When you walk in, there are rows of
slots. Find the man to the far left that says "wins come and go". Below
him is a machine that is out of order. Play the machine directly beneath
it. Do not get frustrated if you do not win constantly. If it stops
paying out a lot, leave, go train your Pokemon, and come back later.
Note: This trick works more often in the "Blue" version of the game.

Also try walking around Celadon's Game Corner and repeatedly press A to
find coins that people have dropped
Information in this section was contributed by James Queen and Barrett
Steinberg.

Hint: Teleport:
An Abra is hard to catch, but it is worth it. When your Pokemon are weak
and you need to get to a Pokcenter quickly, press Start and choose
Pokemon. A list of your Pokemon will appear. If you have Abra with you,
choose him and select teleport. Note: You have to be outside first; use
an escape rope if needed. It will take you directly to the last Pokemon
Center visited.
Information in this section was contributed by James Queen.

Hint: Clone Pokemon:
Note: This trick requires another Game Boy and Pokemon game. Trade the
Pokemon to be cloned, and have the other player get a Pokemon that he or
she does not care about. Trade them, and make sure the player receiving
the bad Pokemon can see the other player's screen. When the Game Boy
that receives the good Pokemon's displays "Waiting", get ready to shut
the other Game Boy off. When the "Waiting" message disappears, turn off
the Game Boy that is receiving the bad Pokemon. When the "Trade
completed" message appears, turn off the remaining Game Boy. Both games
will have the same good Pokemon when they are turned back on.
Information in this section was contributed by Spounge.

Hint: Other ways to get to a Pokcenter:
Besides teleporting, the following methods may also be used to get to a
Pokcenter. Use Dig when in a cave; Fly (HM05 that lets you fly to any
desired town; Also try Softboiled that you can only teach Chansey. It
takes some of Chansey's health to give to another Pokmon, and also
restores Chansey's health by half during a battle. Flash, used to light
up Rock Tunnel and make an opponent's accuracy fall. Cut used to cut
certain bushes and is used like Scratch in battle. Surf, which lets you
surf across any body of water and is used like the Hydro-Pump in battle.
Information in this section was contributed by Barrett Steinberg.

Hint: Keep earning money:
Here is a great way to keep getting money even after beating all the
trainers in the game. Keep betting the Pokemon league 4 and your rival
repeatedly. You can beat them an unlimited number of times. This is also
a useful to build levels quickly.
Information in this section was contributed by D Generate Three Sixteen.

Hint: Fight Safari Pokemon elsewhere:
This trick allows you to fight Pokemon from one area of the game in
another area. For example, go to the Safari zone and battle for a while.
Fight a Taures, then leave the Safari zone. Then, go to the island where
Articuno is found. Swim up and down the shore, at the point where it
appears that you are on the ground, but are actually swimming in the
water. Monsters from the Safari zone will appear here.
Information in this section was contributed by Matt Golden.

Hint: Unlimited chances to catch rare Pokemon:
First ,find a rare Pokemon such as a Mewtwo. Then, immediately before
entering a battle with it, save the game. Now you can battle the Pokemon
without worrying about not catching it. If you make a mistake and make
it faint, stop and shut off the game. Then, turn on the game and use the
continue option to restart just before the battle.
Information in this section was contributed by Matt Golden.

Hint: Unlimited time for Safari zone (Water Pokemon only):
This trick allows an unlimited amount of time in the Safari zone to
catch Water Pokemon. Obtain a good or super rod. Next, go to the Safari
zone and find some water. Then, go into inventory and use the rod to
start fishing. If a "Not even a nibble" message appears, press A, then
quickly press Start. If you got into a fight, check the Pokemon out. If
it is one you do not have, catch it then quickly press Start after the
battle. Return to the inventory and fish again. If you already have this
Pokemon, run from it, then quickly press Start and begin fishing again.
This will help you catch some good Water Pokemon with plenty of time.
Information in this section was contributed by Matt Golden.

Hint: Fish forever:
In the Safari Zone, the 500 units that are allocated when entering are
based on number of steps, not time, spent. You can fish forever in the
park if you go to water and not move the entire time that you are
fishing.

Hint: Better chance to capture Pokemon:
When you throw a Poke-ball hold A as it closes on the Pokemon. The
Poke-ball will shut tighter, making it easier to catch the Pokemon.
Information in this section was contributed by Matt Golden.

When using any kind of Poke-ball (except the Master Ball), enter a
battle and prepare to throw it at a Pokemon. As soon as it appears, hold
Up + B. The Ball will become a Master Ball and catch the Pokemon. Note:
This trick requires precise timing.
Information in this section was contributed by James Queen.

Hint: Catch Pokemon at level 15:
Press Start, A, B (requires precise timing) to catch a Pokemon at level
15 with the Poke-ball.
Information in this section was contributed by pika chu.

Hint: Harder hitting attacks:
Hold A while attacking to do more damage.
Information in this section was contributed by Matt Golden.

Hint: Rare bird Pokemon locations:
Moltres (Victory Road), Articuno (Sea Foam Isle), Zapdos (Abandoned
power plant).
Information in this section was contributed by Cj.

Hint: Get all three beginning monsters at Oak's lab:
Note: Another Game Boy with the game and a link cable are required for
this trick. Transfer your Pokemon to the other Game Boy. Begin a new
game on the original Game Boy and get a monster that was not collected
in the first game and transfer it to the other Game Boy. Repeat this
step again, then transfer the monsters back to the original Game Boy.
This allows your game to have the three starting Pokemon (Bulbasaur,
Charmander, and Squirtle) plus any others that were already captured.
Information in this section was contributed by Zapdos.

Hint: Getting level 100 and over Pokemon:
Go to Viridian City and talk to the old man. When he asks if you are in
a hurry, answer "No". After he explains how to catch a Weedle, fly to
Cinnabar Island. Surf on the side of Cinnabar that faces the Seafoam
Islands. In addition to the Missingno Pokemon, regular Pokemon over
level100 will be encountered. Note: After any Pokemon over level 100
gains any experience points, it will drop to level 100.
Information in this section was contributed by Phil Abbate and Butrice99
.

You can raise the Pokemon with rare candies up to level 255. After that,
they return to level 0. Note: The Pokemon available may vary from
cartridge to cartridge.

Hint: Chrona Myuu:
Myuu can evolve into Chrona Myuu. Go to the Seafoam Islands and use the
Itemfinder to locate the Mist Stone. There is only one, and is very
difficult to find.
Information in this section was contributed by Shorty.

Hint: Get Mew:
Defeat the Elite Four twelve times without healing or using items. (You
can only heal at Ash's Mom's house). Then, visit and talk to Bill. Walk
outside and get zapped for Mew.
Information in this section was contributed by [email protected]

Here are some more

the Pokemon you are trying to catch. Through the Ultraball and when the
Ultraball releases from your hand hold up+B (this code works 70% of the
time).

To turn a Pokeball into a Greatball: Get into a fight with a Pokemon
thats you could catch with a Greatball. Throw a Pokeball at the Pokemon

Pokeball will close stronger turning it into a Greatball. (This code
works 60% of the time).

To catch pokemon from the Safari Zone on Cinnabar Island: First goto the
Safari Zone and run into some pokemon that are rare and hard to catch
then leave the Safari Zone. Fly over to Cinnabar Island and Surf right

[Pokmon Duplication] By PokemonMax 11/5/98
Work on both American Versions.

Here is a trick to duplicate your pokemon. This works on the American
versions. I will try to explain it as good as I can. For this trick to work,
you need both games and two gameboys. Here is what you do:

1. Put the pokmon you want duplicated into one of the games. Either red
or blue.
Let's use red for an example.
2. Put a pokmon you don't mind losing in the other cartridge. Which is
blue.
3. Go to the trade center and trade the pokmon you want duplicated (red)
with the one
you want to erase (blue).
4. After they are traded, leave the game (blue) on with the pokmon you
erased and
turn the game (red) off with the pokmon you wanted duplicated, before
the "Trade
Completed" sign appears, right after the "Waiting..." sign disappears.

If you did the steps right, the game (red) with the pokmon you wanted
duplicated should still be there and the one you erased on the other game
(blue) should be the same as the one you traded. I tried to explain it as
best as I could so don't get mad at me if you can't get it working.

**Note: This might mess up your game, but I had no trouble with it. If
anything happens to your game please do not put the blame on me.

??GET MEW WITHOUT A GAMEGENIE OR GAMESHARK??

this trick may work I heard you go to the area where you catch mewtwo
and walk around there until supposedly you will run into mew.THey say
that this code needs a lot of patience so be ready to try to use up 30
to 45 minutes of your time. I am not sure if this code works so email
me on what you find out (i am grounded from gameboy so i can't try).

Get Pikablu (a.k.a. Mariru) There is a bottle SOMEWHERE in everybodies pokemon gamepack. But it is always in the water. Some mostlikly places are- Cerulean Waters, Cerulean Gym Waters, Power Plant Waters(outside to the south), and Unknown Dungeon Waters. Then when you teleport to Cerulean City, it will say You found a bottle! Select it, and it will tell you where Pikablu is. Some say the middle waters of Seafoam island (saw three freinds do it). Went there and teleported,a nd got pikablu, then to the right is a mist stone. VERY unclear. Rumor-if this is as true as it doesn't sound, the mist stone makes pikablu a raiblu.

Getting Mew If anybody found out if they change the part before .html to mew, you would go to a mew page, you would have see that it says I got a Mew without cheats. Well this is a cheat, but without gameshark or gamegenie, and you can get as many mews as you want. You must not transform Bill back into a human. When you get to Cinnabar, fly back, and talk to Bill (note: you must trade with a person that has a pokemon with the cut ability to get through the game). Now fly back to Cinnabar, and sail up ans down the coast, half on land, half on water. This code works, I cought 4 mews with it!

To get Mew the 151st pokemon: First do not get on the S.S.anne and get your friend to give you a pokemon with the HMcut. Go through the game without geting on the S.S.anne. beat Sabrina and Koga and have HM3 and HM4 and go back to the S.S.anne. Go behind the guy that you flash your ticket to but not on the S.S.anne Surf behind the S.S.anne there will be a little island that has a truck on it move the truck with strength and under it is Pokeball with the 151st pokemon Mew.

1)Go to viridian city and go to the guy who tells you how to catch a weedle. When he asks you are you busy say "Yes", then talk to him again and say, "No". After he shows you how to catch a pokemon, fly to cinnibar island.

2)Surf along the right side of cinnibar so that you are half in the water and half on land. Then fight and capture a "MISSINGNO." (level 138 works the best. level 138 are actually stronger than level 146)

3)Go to your box on the Pc and deposit one of you pokemon and then hit "Withdrraw Pokemon" choose "MISSIGNO." (like have 6 pokemon with you so "MISSIGNO." is tranported to a box and then deposit one and continue code.)(BUT DON'T ACTUALLY WITHRAW HIM) if you tap the button once you will have a menu saying "Withdraw, Stats, and Cancel" Look at the stats twice before withdrawing again.

NOTE: now you can teach your new "MISSINGNO./Rydon" all of Rydons attacks, tms, and the game WON'T glitch durring battle. Also, Rydon will still know water gun water gun and sky attack. Which can be taught normally. (I'm not sure if you have to give "MISSINGO." , a grass pokemon nickname.)

Wild Starting Pokemon
now go to Pallet Town then talk to Professor Oak one or two times then, go over to the last remaining pokemon and push "A" it should say "THATS PROFESSOR OAK'S LAST POKEMON!" do that once or twice then, FLY streight to Cinnabar Islan and SURF up and down how u would like Missingno and u might encounter a squrtle or a chameleon! (this code has only been known to work for RED)

Ok this is a good code but it has a slight chance of erasing your game. Have you ever needed a pokemon so your friend traded it to you and you wanted to keep it but they wanted it right back well now you can keep it pick a stupid pokemon and have your friend take out his pokemon that you want. Now trade the pokemon and when the screens both say waiting whoever is getting the stupid pokemon turn the game off and the person getting the good pokemon wait for it to say trade complete and then turn it off. When you turn the game back on you will both have that pokemon.

You can find these in the red version only:(-) means evolves into.

#125 Electabuzz
#23 Ekans - #24 Arbok
#123 Scyther
#56 Mankey - #57 Primeape
#43 Oddish- #44 Gloom- #45 Vileplume
#58 Growlithe-Arcanine

In the blue version only:

#127 Pinsir
#126 Magmar
#52 Meowth- #53 Persian
#27 Sandshrew- #38 Sandlash
#69 Bellsprout- #70 Weepinbell- #71 Victreebel
#37 Vulpix- #38 Ninetales

There are also some Pokemon that can only evolve if used with a game link cable. And they are:

#64 Kadabra- #65 Alakazam
#67 Machoke- #68 Machamp
#75 Graveler- #76 Golem
#93 Haunter- #94 Gengar

Also, there is a Pokemon that can ONLY be found in the Celadon City excahnge corner. It is P o r y g o n. In the red version it is worth-9,999 coins. But in the blue version it's worth 6,500

I haven't updated my page for awhile but I got some new stuff!!!

pokemon codes!!!(without gameshark)

pokeballglitch: when you throw a pokeball to catch a pokemon hold UP and B at the same time and the ball will act as a master ball. (It works better with greatballs).

extra coins: in the team rocket game corner , just walk around pressing A and you will find lots of coins all over the place.

fight safari pokemon in another place:
In the safari zone when they ask you if you want to play, say yes ,go in. DO NOT START FIGHTING WITH OTHER POKEMON, DON'T EVEN WALK.JUST WALK BACK. They will say " leaving so soon" you get out . walk down into the shore where you use surf and go to the seafomislands. when you get there start going up and down lots of times between water and land of the islands. soon there will be appering pokemon that you can only catch in the safari zone.

To get 150 of an item: go to the Viridian city and talk to the guy who teraches you how to catch a weddle , say you aren't in a hurry. When he finishes FLY to the cinnabar island and start surfing on right side in between water and land and keep surfing , and missingno will appear: DO NOT FIGHT HIM , RUN AWAY. when you get out to shore your (6th) item will have a wierd little shape beside the number. I recommend you put thre nuggets , master balls or rare candy, And you can do that all the times you want.

To get a pokemon above level 100:
All you have to do is do the (150 item) code to get it.
If u want to use the pokemon ( YOU CANNOT USE IT IN THE ORDINARY GAME) if you want to use it do it when you are fighting against another player with alink cable. If u use it duringthe normal game he will go back to level 100 and you can't turn him back!
